Biografie

Johann Carl Eschmann, auch Johann Karl Eschmann, war ein Schweizer Komponist und Pianist der Romantik. Eschmann studierte unter anderem bei Felix Mendelssohn in Leipzig. Er wirkte in Zürich als Klavierlehrer und Komponist, und fand in Johannes Brahms einen prominenten Bewunderer. Eschmanns eigene Werke sind besonders von der Kompositionsweise Robert Schumanns und Felix Mendelssohns beeinflusst. ~ de.wikipedia.org
